Hae Soo's Song & Missing Scenes Ep 7 Scarlet Heart Ryeo Raw versus Subbed

Chinese-subbed version already out within 1 hour after broadcast. Much faster than English version that is still not subbed until tomorrow.

Conversation between 8th prince & Yeon Hwa in Raw/uncut version. Missing from Chinese & Eng-subbed versions.

Scene in Raw/uncut version. Crown prince's skin allergy being treated with cream/paste by astronomer Ji Mong.

Aii... why must Korean director do this? Why release uncut versions?? And then there's the cut version in the subbing??  So troublesome. So confusing.

Missing in the Raw version this time, is the scene where the proud Queen Yoo walks by the crown prince's medical room & overhears the crown prince telling concubine Oh not to punish Hae Soo. This scene is not in the Chinese subbed version (but it is in the Eng subbed version).

ARGGHHH!! What a pity. In the raw/uncut version, important missing scene!!! 8th Prince hugs Hae Soo!! Fortunately, it's in the Chinese & English subbed version. I love that part.

Missing. Missing from raw version! While Hae Soo is pounding herbs with the youngest prince, Prince Yong (Jung) enters to display his new sword skill.  This scene is in the English subbed version.

The order of this below scene is different in the Raw version. In the raw version, it's much before the "bear" scene. In the Chinese & Eng subbed versions, this scene comes after the "bear" scene where one of the princes ask where everyone went & if they have been left out.

In the raw version & Chinese subs, Hae Soo sings all the way & completes the song with very beautiful, gentle piano music at the instant Prince So realizes he loves her. The director shouldn't have changed this. During this, there is no voice-over by Hae Soo in the raw version.

In the Chinese-subbed & English-subbed version, there is voice-over of her feelings regarding the bonding of the brothers.

Chinese-subbed version 44.44 from start of her song to 46.30 when Prince So walks off.
Raw version 14.42 to 16.33. Length is the same.

In the English-subbed version (released later), her singing is horribly interrupted by the soundtrack at that time.

Incidentally, the piano background music sounds like it was taken from My Love From the Stars.

Also, the Chinese-subbed version of her song is better & more meaningful about friendship. The English subbed version lyrics is oddly depressing for a happy occasion.

Hae Soo's song lyrics translated from Chinese-subbed version:

In the fierce wind that mercilessly cuts and blows against my face,
I smile for a sliver of your gaze.
Among the hurrying crowds that brush against me as they pass,
I smile for a few friends.
If find a place that's not lonely,
Take me there with you, take me there.
Friend, friend, this is you. Thank you.

Hae-Soo's voice-over: Hope you all will always be good like this.
Can you not be King? That's you. Thank you.
Don't forget this moment, ok?

Additional missing scene: Raw version: The part where Prince Jung (Chong) takes the bear skin from the woman & scolds the youngest prince for being too pushy & scared her away.

Additional missing scene from Eng & Chinese subbed versions: The part where Prince So sits by the pond/lake & remembers Hae Soo. The flashback is only once about Hae Soo singing. But in the Raw version, there are 4 flashbacks.

Also, different angle of filming 4th Prince's face when he says, "Must you... see it?".  Raw version is better (side view of Lee Joon Gi's face). More mysterious, sexy & younger profile when he says it.

In the Eng & Chinese subbed versions, the angle cuts from a very brief show of his profile to the front view of his face when he says it.

Yeah, not only have they been cut, the cut versions aren't subbed. So we don't even know what was said.

The director should just show the whole damn thing.
